Stoma Prescribing in BLMK

The Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Stoma Prescription Service will launch on 1 June 2023.

• It is a confidential, discreet service, staffed by a knowledgeable team of trained call handlers and specialist stoma nurses.
• The new service will replace the Connect (LAMS) service in Luton and will be a new type of service for Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.
• It has been set up to manage the prescribing of stoma products for all BLMK patients who have a stoma and who are registered with a BLMK GP.
• Prescriptions are issued in a timely manner and sent to the patient’s dispenser of choice.
