Treatment of Gender Incongruence in Transgender women, Transfeminine and Non-binary People (Assigned Male at Birth


This shared care guideline has been written by the Gender Identity Clinic (GIC – Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust) and last updated April 2025.

Please note it contains a GP acceptance form (appendix iii). On agreement to shared care, the GP should sign this acceptance letter and return to the GIC.

This version has been ratified by the BLMK APC for local use June 2025.
NB: Prescribers should consult the local formulary for guidance on individual drug choices.
